School Tours
More than a field trip
Touring the Museum is an opportunity to inspire curiosity and wonder. We welcome groups to visit and learn about Bonner County history by exploring artifacts and exhibits that share the history of our region. School tours cost $1 per student, and all chaperones receive free admission. Our guided tours last 60 minutes. They are designed to help students develop their observational skills, questioning techniques, and explore strategies to pursue their own curiosity. We can accommodate a max of 40 guests at a time for grades 2nd-12th. For younger students or special accommodations you may fill out a request to see if we can meet your needs.
Self-guided tours include a brief welcome to the Museum by a staff member and then are facilitated by the group leader or teacher. Teachers can preview the Museum and create a plan for facilitating a visit to meet their educational goals. Filling out a Tour Request Form will help us find the best time for your visit.
